Feeding Our Communities Partners (FOCP) is a nonprofit organization focused on solving local youth hunger, specifically through their first initiative, the BackPack Food Program which provides child-friendly food to elementary students on weekends and during school breaks. FOCP recognizes that hunger does not end at elementary and now offers Power Packs, a supplemental snack pack for active middle school students who may be lacking adequate nutrition between school and after-school activities. On average, FOCP programs serve 900 students each week at 33 schools within 5 school districts in the greater Mankato area.
