Rebecca S is a volunteer coordinator with us, and when asked what volunteers do she said, "They show up at the most difficult time in life and demonstrate both love and compassion, deserved or not, to all equally." Today, we want to acknowledge and thank Rebecca for all she does for those she shows up for. https://shorturl.at/HKMR9

Today we're celebrating Lacey P, a volunteer coordinator of 2 years, who when asked why someone should spend their time volunteering with hospice said, "What is more rewarding than being able to make someone’s last days and memories on Earth? In my opinion nothing. Nothing compares to knowing someone passed from this earth with everything they needed and happy because of the services we provide." We couldn't agree more and thank Lacey for all she's done for the lives of others. https://shorturl.at/cdmDO

We are a welcoming, caring provider because of the people that show up for our patients every day, especially those who volunteer their time to support our care teams and our patients. This week, we'd like to express our gratitude to our volunteers and volunteer coordinators, who are an essential part of our community. Thank you for your selflessness. #NationalVolunteerWeek

Grief is a normal and healthy response to loss. If you or a loved one is experiencing grief, we encourage you to practice self-care. This can look different for everyone but may include exercise, eating regular meals, or talking with friends or family. #selfcare

Today is World Health Day, and this year’s theme is “My health, my right.” This rings true for us and is core to our identity as an organization. We believe that everyone deserves the right to dignity, grace and love while receiving the care they need. #worldhealthday

It's a common misunderstanding that hospice is a place, when in fact, hospice occurs wherever the patient calls home – including a nursing home or assisted living. In fact, 80% of all hospice care is provided in the comfort of home. We are here to answer you or your patient's questions 24/7/365 at (855) 488.7026.

Today, on National Doctors Day, we’re reflecting on the courageousness of doctors who work every day to improve peoples' lives. We want to thank them for their expertise in all that they do, and we encourage you to thank a doctor, too. #nationaldoctorsday
