Formed by the union of strong, successful ag-focused cooperatives with rich traditions and deep roots in the communities we serve, We are shaped by our past experience, not bound by it. We use what we have learned as a foundation that allows us to work efficiently in the present, and we are focused on shaping the future. In all we do, we are guided by five core principles.
WE CONSIDER OUR CUSTOMERS FIRST.
WE HARNESS CHANGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR MEMBER/OWNERS.
WE GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITIES.
WE PROVIDE AVENUES FOR EMPLOYEE GROWTH AND SUCCESS.
WE ALL OWN THIS.
Today’s agriculture is equal parts experience, equipment, technology, and insight. The CFS agronomy department has all four covered.
In this digital age, speed is everything. Bigger equipment means a shorter harvest, so our facilities are geared to handle your grain quickly, get you back to the field, and keep that grain in top condition until it’s marketed.
Quality feed at competitive prices—with the experience and product knowledge to back up the sale. That’s what you want in a feed supplier, and that’s what we offer at CFS.
We’ve worked hard to build a reputation for responsive energy service. Whatever your energy need, we can meet it.
It’s all in the palm of your hands! All you need to do is grab your phone and open the CFS app and it connects you with your account, agronomist, and data. It is simple to use and is a great way to stay connected with all the information that is pertinent to your operation.
Dear CFS Member/Owners,
Today marks a significant milestone in my journey with Central Farm Service. I want to announce that I have submitted my retirement notice to the CFS Board of Directors. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your CEO, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have served this cooperative, the employees, and our members/owners.
I plan to retire at the end of this year, with my last day of employment scheduled for December 31st, 2024. However, rest assured that until then, it will be business as usual as we continue to pursue our short- and long-term goals for CFS.
In the coming months, I will be working closely with the Board of Directors on a transition plan to ensure a seamless handover to my successor. Our goal is to have a successor in place before my departure, and I will be actively involved in this process to facilitate a smooth transition.
As we move forward, I have full confidence in the strength and capabilities of our team to continue driving CFS toward success. I am committed to doing everything within my power to ensure a successful transition and to help CFS stay on the path to prosperity for years to come.
Thank you once again for your support and dedication. It has truly been a pleasure.
Sincerely,
Merlyn Kruger
CEO, Central Farm Service
